    Description

    Top level responsibilities of the Environmental Justice Specialist will include:

    • Supporting and engaging with local and statewide energy equity and environmental justice partner organizations.
    • Identifying and reaching out to potential partners, community volunteers and advocates
    • Providing support to Community Sustainability department programs and partner programs including organizing classes and workshops on environmental justice and energy equity topics
    • Providing support to New Haven based resident-driven sustainability initiatives & potential advocates
    • As needed, providing general assistance to the Director and Department of Community Sustainability
