The Activities Supervisor is responsible for planning, supervising, and administering a comprehensive therapeutic program for seniors in an adult day health setting. The Supervisor prepares activity programs and monitors their effectiveness for participants with varying degrees of memory impairment, supervises and instructs activity staff in the performance of their work, orders equipment and supplies, attends interdisciplinary team meetings, maintains appropriate records and documentation, will supervise activity staff as added. Join a team that focuses on meeting our elder client’s individual needs and improving their quality of life! 

This position is located at The Elder Service Plan (ESP) of Harbor Health. ESP is a PACE program (Program for all Inclusive Care for the Elderly) and is located at 1135 Morton Street, Mattapan, MA. We offer free parking, newer building with outdoor green space plus a great benefits package.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Health Care, Human Services or related field or 4 years of related Activities experience, 2 or more years of experience in program development and implementation for a population with memory impairment of which one year must be direct work with seniors, skills in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating special activities and programs for seniors, Computer literate; must have intermediate skills in Excel, Word and Outlook, ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, healthcare management experience preferred.
