To make this vision a reality, Compassion & Choices focuses nationwide and within communities to empower people with information and tools to ensure they are receiving state-of-the-art care and a full range of choices for dying in comfort, dignity, and control. 

 

With the opportunity to work remotely from your home office in California, you will be responsible for prospecting, cultivating and soliciting six/seven figure gifts from prospects and major donors along the West Coast,with primary emphasis on California donors.  This position will also oversee our direct mail program and the development services team.


The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Non-Profit Management;  a proven track record of 6 years soliciting and closing 6/7 figure major gifts; demonstrated ability to develop and grow long term philanthropic relationships while consistently meeting fundraising goals.  Experience closing C4 gifts is strongly preferred.
