 Status:         Full Time – Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

The Marketing Assistant is responsible for invoicing for the entire Marketing department including performances, Arts Education, Group Sales and Communications; Management of institutional and Arts Education budgets and invoicing; management of the VP of Marketing’s monthly AMEX statements; Daily reports and list pulls for email and direct mail campaigns; creation of promotional codes and is the liaison for all check requests; implementation and management of Arts Education marketing.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Responsible for daily sales reporting and analysis and tracking of key marketing efforts

·        Responsible for the implementation of invoices and check requests.

·        Responsible for the VP of Marketing’s monthly AMEX management

·        Implement all list requests and work with IT to fulfill

·        Handle creative requests (yellow sheets) for fixed/institutional/Arts Education marketing materials

·        Implements and manages all Arts Education and Fixed/Institutional Marketing plans

·        Facilitates select media buying for Arts Education and fixed marketing campaigns

·        Manage the  budgets and invoicing for Fixed, Institutional, Arts Education, Digital and Group sales of the marketing team

·        Manage the postage account with the mailhouse

·        Assist the VP of Marketing with general administrative needs including preparation of correspondence, mailing, faxing, copying and other clerical duties


Qualifications and Special Requirements:

·        Undergraduate degree preferred.

·        Two+ years of marketing experience required.

·        Project coordination experience required.

·        Accounting management experiences a plus.

·        Mature self-starter who works well under pressure, takes initiative, has attention to detail and follow-through skills.

·        Excellent written communications skills.

·        Advanced knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel.

·        A team player. 

·        Must be available to work a flexible schedule, in addition to selected nights and weekend performances and events as needed.
