$42.95-$54.64 per hour (hourly rate, which is based on the CUNY’s non-teaching adjunct salary scale, is commensurate with experience and qualifications).

The CUNY School of Professional Studies (CUNY SPS) provides online and on campus degree and certificate programs that meet the needs of adults who are looking to finish or transition into a bachelor’s degree, earn a master’s degree or certificate in a specialized field, advance in the workplace, or change careers.

The CUNY Assessment Council:

 

The CUNY Assessment Council fosters a culture of assessment and evidence-based decision making within CUNY and among its constituent colleges by identifying, developing and communicating best practices in assessment. Members of the Council are the appointed (or recognized) leaders of assessment from each college, and includes those whose work involves overseeing, managing, or actively participating in the institutional effectiveness, assessment, or accreditation activities on their campuses.

 

CUNY SPS, in partnership with the CUNY Assessment Council, is seeking an Articulate Specialist/Non-Teaching Adjunct to assist in the creation, in Storyline 360, of Assessment 101, an online, asynchronous course that will introduce the principles of assessment in higher education to CUNY faculty and staff.

 

Assessment 101 Course Overview

 

Assessment 101 is an online, asynchronous course that will introduce the principles of assessment in higher education and encourage active participation in the college assessment process. Specifically, the course aims to:

 

·        Demystify the assessment process

·        Provide simple, easy to understand tools for building and implementing an assessment plan

·        Provide examples of assessment success

 

 

Articulate Specialist/Non-Teaching Adjunct Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Reporting to the Assistant Dean of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning, the Articulate Specialist will help to build the course content in Articulate Storyline 360.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

·        Bachelor's Degree required

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Articulate expertise
  • Blackboard expertise, with Blackboard administrator experience a plus
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating productively with faculty and administrators
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively

Hours: Although working remotely is an option, the Articulate Specialist must be available to meet with project managers in New York City, as needed.
