Lenox Hill Neighborhood House is seeking an organized applicant for the position of Camp Coordinator in our RealArts Summer Camp. RealArts is a five day a week camp within our Visual and Performing Arts Department, which integrates art performance and art education. This position is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with school-age children in a program emphasizing arts education. The Camp Coordinator will work with a creative team of experienced teachers and must be caring, responsible and attentive, with strong skills working with school-age children and program management. The Camp Coordinator will be responsible for staff communication, tracking attendance, assisting and tracking meals, daily schedule and staff assignment revision, and maintaining camp incident logs.


Qualifications:


  • Over 18 years old;
  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in education, psychology or related field required;
  • Previous experience working with school-age children;
  • Enjoy working with youth;
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills; and
  • Administrative experience is a plus.


Hours:


  • 35 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday
  • June – August 17, and 20 hours of in-service training June 26-29
