The Director of Human Resources will ensure a highly engaged workforce which supports retention, advancement and high performance for all employees. This position serves as the strategic leader for all agency HR needs and responsibilities is responsible for developing and executing our human resource strategy, specifically in the areas of talent management, training, staff development, performance management and compensation. Responsible for articulation our HR needs and plans to the executive management team, they ensure that Friends of Youth recruits, trains and retains highly qualified and excellent staff, to meet our mission and vision. This is an engaged, hands-on leadership role managing the day-to-day HR needs of the organization while leading the key employee engagement and HR visions for the organization. Serves as a strategic partner on the Executive Leadership Team and actively contributes to the vision, mission, and values of Friends of Youth.
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business or related field with a minimum of ten years of progressive HR experience and a minimum of ten years of managerial experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
2. Relevant Professional Human Resources Certification, SPHR, PHR, GHR, etc.
3. Experience with Word, Excel, and database management programs.
