LPN Residential Manager

Summary

Manage program operations for residential home that provide 24/7 support and supervision to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and intensive medical needs. Group Home Managers provide staff supervision and direction, and oversight of all client and household needs. This includes client finances and medical appointments/medical care, household shopping and cleaning, client records, program schedule management, and maintaining state and federal compliance regulations. The LPN Group Home Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of the people in our medical group home and combines hands on direct care work with administrative responsibilities. Your team management, interpersonal communication skills, problem solving, and organizational skills will be utilized to ensure quality supports and services are provided in a manner consistent with Everas core values and to make a difference in the lives of the people we support.

LPN Manager Duties include but are not limited to:

• Staff supervision including performance management
• Training and support to DSPs in any non-nursing medical care that can be delegated
• Daily coordination of household activities and individual client needs
• Ensure adequate supplies are available at all times including household supplies, food, and personal client needs
• Ensure clients receive caring, quality direct support services that meet their community living needs as per their individual service plan
• Serve as lead staff on shift relative to client medical support – peg-tub care, injectables, catheter care, etc.
• Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team to support positive outcomes in all areas of our clients’ lives
• Maintenance of client service records for daily, monthly, and annual requirements

Job Requirements:

• Minimum three years supervisory experience in related field
• Minimum education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Nursing Diploma, OR HS Diploma Accredited Practical Nursing Certificate (LPN) w/three year's experience
• Driver’s license with no more than two moving violations w/in three years
• Criminal background check and drug screening
• Physical including tuberculosis screening
• Mandatory six-day orientation and professional skills training at agency headquarters in Somerset, NJ
• Pass and maintain required trainings including CPR/SFA; medication administration, and positive behavioral support training
• Ability to provide mobility support and physical transfers
• Comfort with hands on hygiene support/total care of people with physical support needs
• Strong interpersonal communication, problem solving, and writing skills
• Flexible schedule to include evenings/weekends
• Emergency On-Call availability
• Willingness to meet NJ Executive Order 252, which requires employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including a booster; at minimum one dose is required to begin employment with the expectation to complete subsequent doses as per recommended time frames; this requirement may be waived only in exceptional circumstances as outlined in the law.
