Working on the Ounce Institute (OI) team, you will deliver high quality professional development and support to Illinois home visiting and center based programs through technical assistance, coaching, and training. 

Reporting to the Director, Ounce Institute you will:  

  • Maximize the effectiveness, responsiveness, functionality and accuracy of the Ounce Institute’s Operations Team.  
  • Oversee special projects related to technical assistance and training within the Ounce Institute. 
  • Manage the daily and long-term training functions for the training institute; provide oversight of training calendars, schedules, and logistics.
  • Manage and develop public and privately funded annual and quarterly reports, consultant contracts, and vendor agreements. 
  • Coordinate long and short term state funded projects from inception to completion using project management strategies and tools. 
  • Manage the workflow of multiple projects to ensure timeliness and quality of work.  
  • Ensure and improves the efficiency and quality of all procedures, processes, and supports across the OI division. 
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development to staff. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Early Childhood, Business, Public Health, Organizational Management, Liberal Arts, or related field. 
  • Minimum three years related experience. 
  • Project Management course work or certification completion.  
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written), organizational, time management, analytical, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.  
  • Ability to work as a team member and a leader, integrating feedback from a variety of sources into project outcomes.
