We are a small but mighty cross-functional team of people who care deeply about the audiences we serve. We value and support each other and share a commitment to continuing to learn, grow, and improve together and as individuals.

  • Act as a key contributor to customer service regarding internal and external GreatSchools data questions.
  • Own Data Reporting and Dashboard Creation
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations on data coverage, quality, and changes, as well as other key metrics and BI outcomes.
  • Support the data team with general contributions to the QA of analysis outputs including results, reporting, and scripts.

What we’re looking for:

  • A deep desire to put your skills to work addressing structural inequity.
  • Relevant, proven project management experience (agile software development environment preferred) with strong organizational skills and experience balancing a complex set of needs/priorities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to move quickly, iterate often, welcome feedback, and remain flexible
  • Technical expertise and skills in at least one of the following: SQL and relational database management tools, a scripting language such as Python or R,  dashboarding and visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Experience working with education data, or in support of high-need communities (other non-profit experience also desirable)
