Social Worker/Program Coordinator


We are a small, membership-based, non-profit organization serving the needs of children in the Washington, D.C. area. Our workforce consists of motivated, passionate and supportive employees working together to further the mission of our organization. The Program Coordinator will work in our after-school, summer camp and family support programs serving girls ages 8 – 18 in Ward 8. Focus will be on planning for and administering programs for program participants and their families. The Coordinator will work with students transitioning to high school, current high school students, and those transitioning to college or career. Candidates must have the ability to establish and maintain educational and community-based partnerships and work directly with youth and their families. Three – five years’ experience working in community-based settings with at-risk populations preferred. Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, education, community outreach or related field required, Masters in social work preferred.
