JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the implementation and management of the DCO Operations quality assurance program. Responsibilities will include ensuring the quality and success of our Doping Control Officer’s (DCO’s) and Sample Collection Personnel (SCP) meets or exceeds USADA’s standards.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

           Quality Assurance

•      Oversee and service over 150 domestic and international SCP to ensure organizational success and accountability of our SCP

•      Analyze data and tracking trends to drive performance improvements amongst all SCP

•      Plan, coordinate, and oversee the resolution of short-term issues, and lead the longer-term strategic quality control initiatives

•      Manage and maintain internal DCO master metrics report in conjunction with the DCO performance metric program to ensure USADA SCP meets or exceeds performance requirements

•      Support DCOs by providing ongoing feedback through the utilization of internal DCO Feedback Navigator platform

•      Provide DCOs with ongoing coaching tools to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources needed to perform their duties as a DCO

•      Coordinate and facilitate DCO performance discussions as needed

•      Work with DCO Operations Supervisor to identify training, best practices, and remedial training initiatives for SCP

•      Manage yearly DCO and SCP recertification initiatives and continuing education program in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Agencies (WADA) International Standard for Testing and Investigations (ISTI)

•      Be primary point of contact for all internal and external quality and compliance concerns, improvements, and general inquiries

•      Work with Athlete Services and UFCs compliance teams

•      Assist with the development of USADAs Learning Management System (LMS) for DCOs and SCP

Additional Responsibilities

•      Assist with the planning and logistics for USADAs bi-annual domestic and international DCO Conferences

•      Provide prompt and superior quality customer service to DCOs, and Sample Collection personnel by answering calls and emails

•      Provide general support to USADA DCOs

 

GENERAL:

•      Maintain confidentiality at all times

•      Recommend necessary updates and revisions to USADA protocol and procedures as related to Doping Control

•      Projects and other duties as assigned

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

•      Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, other applicable field or equivalent and applicable experience

•      Experience working in sports or event planning is a plus

•      Excellent oral and written communication skills

•      Excellent interpersonal skills

•      Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service

•      Demonstrated ability to be data driven in their decision-making skills

•      Ability to multitask and to work accurately under pressure

•      Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

•      Values Diversity, Equity and Inclusion among internal and external constituents

•      Ability to work flexible hours as needed

•      Ability to travel as needed(less than 10%)

•      Expert proficiency in MS Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
