Position Description

The Director of Operations and Member Engagement will have a direct and meaningful impact on the growth and sustainability of One Mind at Work (OMAW). Reporting to the Executive Vice President, this role will lead cross-functional efforts and continuously collaborate with our Director of Member Growth.  This role will be dedicated to creating a member engagement strategy inclusive of awareness and commitment, by taking an end-to-end view of the member journey, using data driven insights to identify opportunities, and leading transformation initiatives to deliver results. The Director of Operations and Member Engagement is responsible for delivering value to our members from on-boarding handoff to long-term engagement, aligning with their evolving needs and ensuring the ongoing satisfaction and involvement of member organizations. This role will develop deep relationships with the senior level contact at each member company and is critical to ensuring members are leveraging their membership benefits. The Director leads in an environment where operational excellence, innovation, and experimentation are valued and expected. This leader must value having an impact, being hands-on and have great communication skills.

Responsibilities

·    Activates and manages both corporate and affiliate-based memberships

·    Implements an operating model that drives member engagement and retention

·    Uses data, experience, and experimentation to continually optimize the member experience, maximize results and drive member commitment

·    Recognizing that each member is different, builds unique and holistic experiences and meaningful touchpoints

·    Responsible for the development, maintenance and utilization of member tools and content

·    Oversees the annual member planning cycles and is accountable for driving member performance to stated goals

·    Ensures OMAW team member delivery against customer contracts

·    Develops and maintains strategic content partnerships

·    Coordinates, prepares, and sends member communications, including OMAW asks of members

·    Accountable for the accuracy of the OMAW membership database, ensuring all members have a signed charter and have paid their membership fees

·    Defines, monitors, and improves key OMAW operational metrics while maintaining stability during rapid growth and transformation 

·    Builds a high performing team that can successfully navigate through change and transformation

·    Collaborates with the Director of Member Growth to ensure a smooth transition through member onboarding

Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

·      7-10 years business experience with 3-5 years leadership experience

·      Skills required:

o  Outstanding relationship building and collaboration skills

o  Data driven and analytical

o  Detail-oriented, organized and results-driven; exceptional at creating process and structure

o  Excellent communication and persuasion skills, both written and verbal; natural ability to engage & evangelize

o  Ability to think "big picture" -- connecting the dots across multiple departments and members
