THE PRODUCT ANALYST ROLE

Reporting to the Director of Product, you will help our members improve their financial well-being and our organization achieve its social impact goals. You will drive the analysis of our product KPIs, map qualitative customer research with quantitative analysis, and champion the most effective psychological, behavioral, social, and skill-based interventions to create successful savings habits. Using lean and metrics-driven product development you will ensure that all our teams have the relevant data sets and insights to achieve their goals. This is a great opportunity to build a diverse set of skills ranging from product strategy, product development, quantitative research, and cross-functional collaboration. If you believe our organization's ability to achieve social impact at scale hinges on making critical decisions with data, this is the right role for you. You will:

●       Empower SaverLife teams to identify and prioritize new product opportunities with product and user data insights.

●       Build and maintain live dashboards to monitor usability, engagement, and impact of SaverLife product offerings.

●       Design and implement A/B tests and other experiments to improve the user experience while testing behavioral science hypotheses.

●       Collaborate with the Research Team to promote database integrity and analytics best practices.

●       Monitor SaverLife’s sign-up and activity logs for fraudulent activity and propose new ways to thwart illegitimate actions.

●       Support other SaverLife teams in achieving mission-critical deliverables as requested.

WHAT YOU BRING

●    B.A./B.S. degree ideally in a quantitative discipline.

●    Minimum 2 years experience conducting product or data analytics.

●    Proficiency with Tableau, Microsoft Excel and SQL required.

●    Proficiency with Amplitude, Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager preferred.

●    Advanced analytical skills and experience working with large and diverse data sets required.

●    Familiarity with Python, R, Snowflake a plus.

●    Experience defining user experience, product metrics, and using A/B tests and other product experimentation to analyze new features required.

●    Familiarity with qualitative analysis and user research a plus.

●    Demonstrated ability to tell stories with data to both technical and non-technical audiences and create clear and compelling visualizations to convey complex data.

●    Ability to work independently and as part of a small team, including filling supportive or leadership roles, depending on the project.

●    Track record of juggling multiple roles, able to prioritize, manage schedules and timelines, and organize multiple detailed tasks and projects.

●    Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse SaverLife constituencies including users, board, staff, funders, and partners.

SaverLife is located in San Francisco but is currently operating virtually.
