This local site delivers professional development workshops to two classes of 50-60 Fellows (ambitious, first-generation college students) and their Mentor Coaches (accomplished young professionals). The New Jersey team works with national staff on curriculum design and development, provides holistic support to Fellows and recruits a new class of Fellows and Mentor Coaches each year.

You will provide holistic support to Fellows, including counseling Fellows through personal, academic, and professional challenges and helping them source and secure internships. The ideal candidate will have experience providing case management or academic/career advisement to college-aged students, will be highly-organized and will enjoy public speaking, multi-tasking and team collaboration.

  • Assist with program surveys and data and outcomes updating and tracking
  • Support Fellows’ and Mentor Coaches’ program performance through data entry and analysis, tracking program standing, attendance, retention and supporting relationship development
  • Conduct Fellow recruitment, application review and selection including recruitment presentations, evaluating and selecting applicants and running successful interview days
  • Manage Fellow Leadership Council
  • Additional projects and duties as determined by the New Jersey team
