Summary

This position is primarily responsible for providing leadership that delivers Gamma Phi Beta’s alumnae experience through executing alumnae engagement initiatives and managing alumnae chapter operations by performing the following duties.


Responsibilities

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Supervise alumnae engagement volunteer team leaders by providing training and development through regular one-on-one calls, team meetings and team calls.
  • Supervise alumnae engagement coordinator.
  • Support alumnae chapter operations through providing educational resources, trainings and completing regular resource updates. Provide oversight for the annual evaluation of alumnae chapters.
  • Manage the Dinner with 12 Sisters program annually, including planning events, recruiting hosts, coordinating logistics, registration of participants and completing a program assessment. Collaborate with the Marketing and Accounting departments to provide seamless end-user experience.
  • Manage the Confident Women of Character Series program, including selecting speakers, developing marketing plan, recruiting participants and completing program assessments.
  • Supervise the Member Milestones team leader by providing training and development through regular one-on-one calls, team meetings and team calls.
  • Support the Member Milestones program through coordinating supplies and logistics for the program’s administration.
  • Manage the Gamma Phi Get-Together program annually, including recruiting hosts, coordinating logistics, tracking logistics and completing a program assessment.
  • Grow existing alumnae engagement programs to increase participation and extend the reach of existing programs.
  • With the Marketing and Communications departments, support strategy for Life Loyal and annual alumnae dues program. Identify opportunities for cross-promotion.
  • Cultivate relationships between the Sorority and graduating members to promote lifetime engagement as they transition into alumna membership.
  • Liaise with Herff Jones regarding alumnae jewelry offerings.
  • Prepare annual budget recommendations.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One to three years of supervisory experience preferred. Experience supervising remote employees preferred.


Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Internet software; spreadsheet software (Excel); word processing software (Word); electronic mail software (Outlook); database software (iMIS).

  • Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail and prioritization to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Professional, outgoing, guest-service oriented manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Detail-oriented and effective work practices under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.
  • Understanding of nonprofit organizations and/or working with volunteers.

Location

This position may be based at Gamma Phi Beta Sorority Headquarters in Centennial, Colorado, or performed remotely.


Benefits and Compensation

Compensation is commensurate with experience, education and work location. The hiring range for this role is $50,000 to $58,000 annually. Gamma Phi Beta offers a full benefits package with an excellent paid time off package that includes 12 days of vacation plus sick time, personal days, holidays and two weeks of additional paid time off over the office’s winter break. Benefits include health, life, disability, vision and dental insurance coverage and participation in Gamma Phi Beta’s 401(k) plan after a year of eligible service.
