Description

NAPHSIS seeks a dedicated, independent and enthusiastic individual for a full-time position supporting NAPHSIS programs. This individual will work with the Senior Director of Programs and other staff to ensure the implementation and success of NAPHSIS programs and services. He/She will integrate new activities into existing workflows, monitor programmatic deadlines to ensure all project deliverables and timelines are met, assist with reporting and proposal drafts, manage program logistics for in-person meetings, and help manage program assets. The individual must be able to work well independently, with colleagues, with NAPHSIS members and with the public. He/she will contribute to other association projects as assigned.

 

The individual should meet two or more of the following qualifications:

·       At least 5 years experience in an organization supporting programmatic activities and/or services

·       Experience working with a public health or a membership association

·       Masters Degree preferred, but relevant experience will be considered

 

And have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the following areas:

·       Grant and report writing

·       Managing logistics and deliverables

·       Ability to work independently

·       Ability to facilitate and support group work in a virtual environment

·       Self-motivated

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Attention to detail

Special Requirements:

Travel out of town averages 1 - 2 (2-3 day) trips per quarter.
