Business Systems Manager/ERP will work with internal business owners to interpret and actualize continual process improvement requirements as they surface. This role coordinates department requests for functionality, typically obtained through deeper or broader implementation of the ERP systems. This position is the primary “go to” person for requirements post-deployment and is a key player in developing and managing the “roadmap” for this platform. ERP is the focal point for business process management generally and is the system of record for all HCM functionality as well as Finance and Accounting systems.


•    Ability to help resolve integration issues requiring a depth of expertise in the Workday solution

•    Demonstrated integration experience in Human Resources, Payroll or Financials Management

•    Contribute to the user experience with Workday’s products, tools, and services in a way that results in high customer satisfaction

•    Research thoroughly all aspects of business process issues and recommend improvement solutions

•    Work closely cross-functionally to create schedule and deliverables by defining the scope, objectives, metrics and plan for both business process improvements and specific projects

•    Support third party to drive solutions to business process issues and successful completion of specific projects 

•    Report on project/business process status highlighting critical paths and bottlenecks

•    Manages the operational aspects of the application interfaces, user access and application security

•    Effectively communicates relevant project information to business process owners and resolves issues in a timely fashion

•    Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and data security procedures


Qualifications Required

•    2+ years of Workday or PeopleSoft implementation experience

•    3+ years implementing ERP solutions

•    3+ years Human Resource, Payroll or Financial software application experience 

•    Command of Service Oriented Architecture concepts

•    Demonstrated knowledge of object-oriented methodologies and approaches 

•    Demonstrated knowledge of cloud solutions, data modeling, database concepts and data management 

•    Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally 

Qualifications Desired

•    Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience.

•    3+ years implementing integration solutions with ERP software

•    3+ years Human Resource, Payroll or Financial software application experience

•    6 months’+ Workday Studio Experience

•    Ability to translate technical specifications into customer/business requirements

•    Proven experience in PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, SalesForce, NetSuite, Taleo, or other SaaS and on-premise ERP systems will be ideal

•    Experience troubleshooting and finding multiple solutions to a complex problem

•    Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

•    Experience working within both a team environment and independently

•    Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

•    Ability to synthesize and interpret technical data
