About us:


Our pre-school, the Carrie Mastronardi Center, is fully licensed by the NYS Education Department and the NYS Department of Health. The main focus is to assist families with the many challenges they face in nurturing a child with specials needs.


We offer a full range of educational and community-based support services for children ages 2 ½ - 5 years with developmental disabilities. Our pre-school provides an environment where children with disabilities are able to develop to their fullest potential and prepare for richer, fuller lives. The pre-school is also open to typically developing children from the surrounding community.


The position:


We have several openings for dedicated, qualified individuals to join our staff. You will utilize your specialized knowledge to provide an educational environment suited to each child’s need and enhance his/her self esteem.


Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education


Licensure: NYS Education Department Certification for students w/disabilities – Birth – Grade 2; bi-lingual Chinese extension, and completion of Bureau of Day Care/Department of Health Certification


Other:        Clearance by State Central Registry for Child Abuse


                    Fingerprinting by Department of Investigation
