You will design and write content for a diverse range of members and stakeholders: founders, volunteers, community partners, sponsors, donors, etc.

A Day in the Life:

  • Managing a team of marketing contractors in charge of implementing all campaigns
  • Supporting our local chapters in marketing their events (eventbrite creation, website updates, Facebook event creation, etc.)
  • Writing stories of successful founders and awesome role models in our community
  • Keeping our community up to date by sharing relevant entrepreneurship resources
  • Managing website content updates
  • Tracking and adjusting strategies and tactics based on quantitative measures
  • Implementing our new branding and ensuring we are staying on brand on all communication channels (website, social media, email campaigns, etc.)

About You:

  • You have experience in managing contractors.
  • You are familiar with the startup/ entrepreneurship world.
  • You have excellent writing skills and a passion for storytelling.
  • You are a self starter who thrives in ambiguous environments - when you don’t know what to do next, you know how to leverage online resources, and can do a little sleuthing through shared resources as a first step, but recognize when to ask for help to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • You live by deadlines and are a master communicator - you can keep yourself organized and deliver on time. When you sense a delay, you are quick to flag it and communicate roadblocks. Nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
  • You’re tech savvy and enjoy learning new systems to improve efficiency.
  • Bonus Points: you have experience using Salesforce, Pardot, Eventbrite, WordPress, and Google Analytics.
