Working collaboratively with the Director, Human Resources and Administration, the Senior Human Resources Manager will drive initiatives to improve process, standardize delivery and ensure best-in-class experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·     Establish systems, processes and tools to accurately track and report on labor related key performance indicators (headcount, turnover, costs, etc.).

·     Own and lead key projects in all areas of HR including, but not limited to, performance management, employee relations, organizational design, succession planning, etc.

·     Review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention and employee experience.

·     Assist people managers and employees in navigating employee relations issues ensuring a balanced perspective.

·     Assist in the development of internal programs for future growth and capabilities.

·     In conjunction with all department, create/manage effective on-boarding/off-boarding program for full-time/part-time personnel.

·     Cultivate a positive working environment.  Assist in the development and implementation of solutions to maximize employee retention and engagement.

·     In conjunction with the Director, effectively manage processing of bi-weekly payroll. Serve as point of contact for employee inquiries.

·     Help drive employee engagement by working with program directors/managers to create programs, events and initiatives designed to benefit and gain trust of staff.

·     Enhance and expand wellness activities taking into account the unique needs of RAINN’s workforce.

·     Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements; ensuring adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

·     Serve on or lead special project teams as needed.

·     All other duties as assigned.

Position Specifications/Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or abilities required:

Required Qualifications:

·     Five (5) years or more of HR management-level experience in all areas of Human Resources (compensation and benefits, recruitment and staffing, training and development, employee relations, labor laws and legal compliance and employee engagement).

·     BA or BS degree, preferably with an emphasis in HR Management, Business or related field.

·     Analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues or problems.

·     Shared commitment to increasing diversity in our organization, ensuring fairness and equity are present in the work we do and maintaining an inclusive organizational culture.

·     Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.

·     Possess a strong customer service focus and ability to work well within a team working towards targeted deadlines.

·     Ability to exercise good judgment when faced with complex decisions.

·     Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule, which will include some evenings and weekends.

·     Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

·     Must be comfortable discussing issues surrounding sexual violence.

·     Must successfully complete a criminal background check (administered by RAINN).

Desired Qualifications:

·     Previous experience working with the Department of Defense, Department of Veteran’s Affairs or in the anti-sexual violence field.

·     Working knowledge of ADP Payroll and HR administrative products/tools.
