Candidate Profile

A candidate with Accounting and HR experience, detail-oriented to ensure accurate recording, reconciliation and reporting. This role requires a responsive, action-oriented person who can operate both independently and as a vital team member within a fast-paced environment.  This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.


Human Resources

·       Administering the semi-monthly payroll

·       Maintains human resources records by maintaining applications, résumés, and benefit forms.

·       Verifies candidates background by assisting with the fingerprinting employees

·       Maintains school database of employee

·       Assists with the new-hire orientations

Accounts Receivable

  • Administer the school’s rental billing and act as the property manager for the school’s outside rental building.
  • Book the rental billings and collections to the General Ledger
  • Act as the assistant Student Billing Coordinator and assist with the collections of Tuition.

Procurement and Reporting

  • Handle the schoolwide Professional Development bookings and maintain the tracking spreadsheet
  • Complete and file credit applications as needed

Other

·       Act as the assistant to the CFO when needed

·       Assist all Business office positions as needed



Required Skills -

  • 5+ years of work experience in a bookkeeping/accounting function
  • Highly proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook

·       Excellent oral and written communication skills

·       Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience with ADP payroll and Blackbaud Financial Edge software preferred

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with business office associates, faculty and staff
  • Ability to protect highly confidential information and to maintain complete confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a self-directed manner
  • Ability to model poise and professionalism, and to positively represent the school in all circumstances
  • Strong sense of customer service
