Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for all facets of the recruiting cycle. This will include innovative sourcing, screening, interviewing and extending offers to the selected candidates. The TAS will ensure all recruitment activities comply with Gateway policies, practices and applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations. Maintaining awareness of competitor practices, industry trends and recruitment best practices and standards will form a key component of the role. Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible to work on high impact recruitment projects & initiatives to increase the effectiveness of the Recruitment function.  


•Works collaboratively with hiring managers to establish a rapport, understand various job qualifications, program needs and challenges.

• Develops and executes program specific talent acquisition plans utilizing traditional and non-traditional recruiting resources and strategies that meet the needs of the program. 

•Researches and identifies cost-effective recruitment efforts, such as alternative sourcing and passive candidate sourcing .Utilizes social and professional networking sites to generate a larger talent pool.

•Participates in job fairs, professional conferences and community events; and conducts various presentations to promote Gateway as an employer of choice.

•Develops and maintains working relationships with schools and professional associations to assist with sourcing qualified candidates and increase brand awareness. 

•Acts as a professional resource to the organization by evaluating recruiting practices, developing recruitment strategies and solutions.

•Conducts statistical analysis and prepares regular summary reports that measure the effectiveness of the recruiting sources, performance outcomes, return on investment and other recruitment metrics. Regularly reviews data to identify trends and make recommendations to improve the efficiency of work and overall performance. 


•Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, required.

•3 plus years of strong experience as a recruiter preferably in a Healthcare organization

•Demonstrated experience in designing workflows and implementing the Applicant Tracking System is highly preferred.

•Ability to undertake projects focused on process improvements, better candidate experience, campus hiring etc.

•Strong experience of hiring healthcare resources in rural and remote locations.

•Ability to partner with managers and develop program specific talent acquisition plans and implement creative recruiting. 

•Advanced interpersonal skills necessary to gather and exchange information, engage candidates, and to effectively deal with a variety of internal customers and potential recruiting sources.
