This role assists institution-wide marketing and communications efforts and priorities and aids the department’s content production and distribution. Works closely with colleagues to support opportunistic marketing initiatives focused on assistance with video production, social media marketing, advertising, and public email communications.


  • Assist in managing marketing and content calendars
  • Populate and manage Juilliard events on Lincoln Center’s website and digital signage system
  • Assist with image curation, resizing, and editing
  • Respond to inquiries and comments on Juilliard’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube accounts using approved language
  • Manage deployment of videos to Juilliard website, YouTube, and other platforms
  • Curate the Juilliard YouTube channel
  • Assist with production logistics for short-form video, including room booking and reservations, interview scheduling, licensing requests, etc.
  • Compile data from multiple platforms (video, social media, emails) to inform future content decisions
  • Share communications and marketing content with internal stakeholders to maximize visibility
  • Design public-facing emails to promote Juilliard performances, initiatives, and other marketing priorities
  • Keep contact lists and email database clean and regularly conduct efforts to consolidate data
  • Manage email lists to optimize segmented and targeted marketing and advertising efforts 


  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years relevant work experience, including demonstrated experience within communications and marketing fields
  • Excellent written communication skills, including copywriting and editing
  • Knowledge of image editing software
  • Experience with email marketing software such as Pardot, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, NetCommunity, or comparable platforms
  • Knowledge of basic HTML and CSS helpful
  • Demonstrated experience with social media marketing, including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube
  • Capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively 
  • Good time management skills and the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to represent the Juilliard brand both online and offline in all aspects of the job
  • Significant exposure to and/or knowledge of the performing arts is a strong plus
