Jewish National Fund seeks to recruit a Director for fundraising activities in the Dallas Metroplex. This position will be office-based in Dallas and report to the Executive Director – Southwest, based in Austin. The Director is accountable for producing significant annual increases in the number of donors to JNF’s National Campaign at all gift levels. 


Duties will include: 

•Identification, cultivation, and solicitation of new donors to the JNF annual campaign, including major gifts 

•Stewardship of existing donor base in the Dallas Metroplex 

•Regular face-to-face meetings with new and prospective donors 

•Daily utilization of JNF’s donor database, including documentation of all contact with donors/prospects 

•Recruitment of lay leadership for the purpose of fundraising support 

•Establishment at local level of JNF Affinity Groups, including Women for Israel (WFI), Doctors for Israel (DFI), Lawyers for Israel (LFI) and Rabbis for Israel (RFI) 

•Mission recruitment 

•Representation of JNF at community events 


Job Qualifications: 

•4+ years fundraising or sales experience 

•Knowledge of and familiarity with Jewish communities in Dallas Metroplex 

•Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking 

•Creative, dependable, self-disciplined individual who is capable of working independently within a team structure 

•Superior problem solving, organization and time management skills 

•Ability to work nights and weekends as needed, depending on scheduled JNF events and donor, prospect and lay leadership schedules.
