Description

Girls Inc. of Lynn is seeking a part-time Development Operations Coordinator to join a dynamic and growing development program. The administrator helps to oversee the administration of the database (Abila), which tracks contributions, alumni, donor, and prospect information. The position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the fundraising database, including data input and output, and technology management.


Managing the integrity of the fundraising database records. Processing gifts, pledges, acknowledgements, tax receipts, tribute notifications and other correspondence. Create weekly and monthly fundraising reports and other database reporting as needed. Continually update and correct database. Assist and help to develop and maintain a structure within the database to effectively identify specific segments of data for various analysis and targeted marketing efforts. Assist in reconciling with finance office. Coordinate the large-scale campaign mailing of Annual Fund direct mail and electronic communications. Merge letters for large mailings.Maintain guest lists, gather and prepare registration materials and other duties as assigned for fundraising events. Provide support for fundraising activities and on-going work. Inputting of information related to donors, grants and volunteers. Grant and Volunteer tracking.


Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years work experience within a nonprofit organization environment. Proficiency in database administration, prospect and constituent management, data imports and exports, and developing reports.Must possess excellent analytical, organizational, and communications skills. Must be customer service oriented.

Must be able to understand development staff needs to accurately translate their requests into effective queries and reports. Skill in making presentations and training individuals in software applications is highly desirable. Must be able to organize and prioritize work.

Expected to utilize most primary office software packages, including MS Excel, MS Word.
