Responsible for managing all aspects of social media for the agency. Must be technically savvy and have previously demonstrated experience working with youth and young people. Must be capable of working in the community to build strong partnerships with clients and potential program candidates, employers and training/educational entities to achieve targeted contracted goals.

Will assist with retention and achievement of program enrollment and outcomes which include, worksite interviews coordination, weekly worksite monitoring and timesheet pick-up. Assist in the coordination and managing social media efforts and communications as it pertains to the marketing of ECDO employment service programs.

Successful use of data system is central to the organization's mission and growth. As a member of the ECDO Employment Services Department, the Program Assistant will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and collaborative group of professionals and contribute directly to the growth of the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Job Postings to Craigslist and Social Media Coordinator.
  • Community Partner Outreach.
  • Recruitment - email and disperse blast job postings, recruitment events, etc.
  • Program Marketing Collateral – email and disperse program marketing materials.
  • Eligibility Assessment – onsite and offsite.
  • Candidate Retention Follow-up.
  • Worksite Personnel/Payroll Liaison.
  • Social Media Coordinator.
  • Updates, posting on Facebook and Twitter
  • Community Partner Outreach.
  • Provide and share program updates for recruitment and internship opportunities.
  • Worksite Visit Monitor.
  • Retention & Follow-up Program Graduates for Outcome Reporting. Weekly visit worksites for pick-up of intern’s time sheets for processing (Monday’s) and additional tasks will include and not be limited to assisting with ensuring all employment services program objectives, milestones and outcomes are met for contractual compliance as directed by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with youth population
  • High School Diploma with 2-4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Passion for ECDO's programs and mission.
  • Strong analytical skills and curiosity for exploring data to inform program improvements.
  • Strong organizations skills and attention to detail, proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate well across various levels in an organization and work collaboratively with a diverse group,
  • Demonstrated ability to use technology to positively impact organization.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of database input systems.
