Finance and Operations Manager

The Congolese Integration Network is a community driven non-profit organization in South Seattle providing culturally relevant services and support to Congolese immigrants and refugees who relocate to the United States . We provide our community members with access to critical resources including housing assistance, interpretation services, and employment support.

The Congolese Integration Network is seeking a Finance & Operations Manager to develop and manage our internal operations, our accounting and finance and HR functions. Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, process deposits, vendor payments.
• Manage the annual budget process, providing support to other staff in developing and tracking budgets.
• Manage Audit and 990 preparations including the management of external relationships with CPA firms.
• Prepares financial reports for the Executive Director and Board of Directors
• Ensure CIN remains in legal compliance and has all proper documentation and licenses to meet federal, state and local requirements.
• Administer bimonthly payroll, ensuring employee timesheets are submitted accurately and on time.
• Manage employee benefits, leaves and worker’s compensation programs.
• Interpret and communicate HR and safety policies and processes, keep policies current and aligned to local, state and federal regulations.
• Facilitates new staff on boarding and orientation processes, tracks and ensures completion of all required paperwork.
• Monitor organizational communication channels, route incoming information, emails, phone calls and physical mail to appropriate parties.
• Oversee and manage facilities to all safety and health standards and ensure the physical office is well maintained with supplies.
• Ensure the organization’s policies and risk management practices are being properly followed across the organization.

• Proven work experience as a manager of finance, accounting, bookkeeping or similar role
• Experience in operations, human resources, and/or nonprofit management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Leadership ability
• Degree ( or equivalent skills and experience) Business, Accounting, Operations Management, Human Resources or related field
