Specialist, Data Analyst

Position Description:

The dynamic role of the Data Analyst will work to support data quality and visualization needs enterprise wide. Working with the Director of Analytics and other department leaders, the detail minded Data Analyst will drive data initiatives across various platforms and technologies.

Location: Greater Chicago area preferred/ Remote in CST/EST considered

Responsibilities:

• Support the management and fulfillment of report requests from across the organization.
• Assist in maintaining and updating records on all MDA platforms (e.g. Salesforce).
• Provide training support to non-technical departments in relation to new and changing functionality and data standards set forth by IT leaders.
• Prepare meaningful data visualizations and content for reports, meetings and presentations.
• Support creation of data policy documentation under the guidance of business leaders.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) is required. Degree in data analytics, informatics, etc. Is preferred.
• Must possess data communication and reporting, customer service, and project management skills.
• 1-2 years experience with CRMs, life science databases, or similar platforms. Salesforce and Tableau knowledge a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel a must. Entry level coding experience in python preferred.
• Experience entering and maintaining data.
• Outstanding organization and verbal/written communication skill set is a must.
• Ability to identify, prioritize and solve problems quickly.
