We are currently seeking an experienced Resource Strategist to join the Greenpeace International team to ensure vital funds are available for ambitious projects around the globe and advise on global campaigning programme resourcing and use across our global network of Greenpeace International and independent Greenpeace National/Regional Organisations.
You should have:
It requires a mix of financial forecasting, data analytics and strategic thinking, as well as the day-to-day ability to use and improve Greenpeace’s internal financial processes and flows to move money to priority projects within the Greenpeace global organisation. The ideal candidate should be able to identify priorities in resource planning, use data analytics to forecast, manage ongoing mutations and fluctuations and effectively utilise models, analyses and financial data to support their recommendations and decisions.
We are looking for someone who has insight, and is able to collaborate and plan resources across many Greenpeace International teams, as well as in collaboration with Greenpeace National and Regional Organisations globally.
This is a full time position for working with our global team who are dispersed across all timezones. A 1-year contract is offered initially with the strong possibility of extension. Location for this role may be at any established Greenpeace Organisation (subject to agreement), with preference for African or South East Asia regions. Because remuneration is dependent on location, this can be discussed during the application process. (A starting salary indication for Amsterdam-based staff for this grade is approximately €52K annually, and elsewhere would be equivalent but relative to the local cost of living and salary scales.)
