o  Collect and manage data and information for partners and sites

o  Communications, including production of web and print collateral

·       Play a leading role in conceptualizing and implementing a combination of in-person and virtual public programs that investigate the places, people, projects, systems and ideas that define New York and its future

·       Collaborate on new methods for expanding and diversifying OHNY’s audiences and co-creating programs in and with communities of color

·       Author or co-author content for website, program materials, social media, and other communications platforms

Experience and Qualifications

·      5+ years of experience in programming and/or community outreach

·      Must bring a commitment to racial equity and the principles of diversity, openness, and access

·      Demonstrated knowledge of urban planning, urban studies, community development, or related field

·      Track record of successfully managing public-facing programs from concept through completion

·      Must be both a strategic thinker and detail oriented

·      Ability to manage multiple projects at once and work independently

·      Strong written and verbal communication skills

·      Ability to initiate and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, including: community partners, civic leaders, board members, and/or volunteers

·      Fluency with Microsoft Office, Adobe CreativeSuite (InDesign, Photoshop), database software (Airtable, Salesforce or comparable), Wordpress, and team software (Asana, Slack, etc.)

·      Familiarity with online video conferencing platforms including Zoom, GoTo, etc.

·      Curiosity and passion for New York City
