A crucial part of the Democratic Party, the Women’s Leadership Forum (WLF) was founded in 1993 as the Democratic Party’s women’s fundraising arm and aims to raise money as a tool to support the President’s agenda and engage women in our democracy. The Women’s Leadership Forum’s  mission is to ensure that women have a seat at the table and remain an integral part of the Democratic National Committee. Since its formation, the WLF has established a strong record of outreach and fundraising for the Democratic Party.


The WLF works to close the fundraising gender gap. It also aims to provide more information about local Democratic activities as well as opportunities to hear from Democratic leaders.  The Women’s Leadership Forum Director is responsible for creating and implementing a WLF-specific finance plan and leads the execution of principal and surrogate involvement and fundraising in WLF. The Women’s Leadership Forum Director is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and maintaining relationships with top donors as well as planning and executing fundraising events, including the DNC’s marquee women’s event, The Women’s Leadership Forum National Issues Conference. Applicant must be detail-oriented, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and have political campaign experience.
