The ideal candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and command strong attention to detail. This person must be curious, passionate about Human Resources, and committed to exceptional client service.

Primary Responsibilities

Working independently and with the HR Business Partner and other HR Team members, the HR Associate supports the administration of the Human Resources department's operation. The key responsibilities include:

+      Supporting new hire enrollment, orientation, and onboarding processes

+      Answering frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, benefits, and training and referring more complex questions to the HR Business Partner or other HR Team members as needed

+      Assisting with addressing generic employee HR, payroll and benefit related questions and referring complex and/or sensitive matters

+      Supporting recruitment efforts as assigned

+      Supporting distribution of information/publications of HR-related information and materials, as assigned

+      Maintaining human resource files, documents and records organized and updated as assigned

+      Supporting periodic audits of HR files and records

+      Supporting basic HR reporting efforts as needed

+      Processing and preparing for payment HR related invoices

+      Assists with maintaining and coordinating employee appreciation/recognition programs including.

+      Performing other duties as required and assigned.

Desired Qualifications

+     BA/BS

+     At least 2 years work experience in the HR field

+     Fundamental understanding of HR functions and best practices

+     Able to work in a fast-paced environment

+     Sound judgment to support working with sensitive and confidential information

+     Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high quality work, consistency, and follow

through in executing tasks for internal as well as external audiences is vital

+     Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management and organizational skills

+     Excellent grammar, writing, proofreading, and editing ability, required

+     Reliable with the ability to work independently as well as part of a diverse team

+     Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

+     Ability to interface with staff at all levels directly or virtually

+     Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+     Knowledge of payroll and HRIS systems and processes

+     Proficiency in MS Office a must; advanced proficiency in Excel a plus
