Job Title:                         Manager, Digital Content

SUMMARY:  

The Manager, Digital Content is a Marketing and Communications professional with web and CMS experience that will develop and manage programs and campaigns across the NECA  websites.

 

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field is required, as well as a minimum of four years’ of relative experience.  Experience promoting industry in a professional trade association is a plus. 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:  

Remote work due to COVID-19. General office work environment headquartered in Washington, D.C. 


Some travel or public speaking may be required. 

 

DUTIES:  

  • Develops, manages and maintains the NECA family of websites in Sitefinity, Drupal and WordPress to ensure that industry content is current and accurate across all NECA properties. 
  • Serves as main point of contact to website vendors and developers. 
  • Maintains and publishes NECA Store publications and merchandise listings. Troubleshoots and responds to customer inquiries regarding publication sales. 
  • Trains and assists staff with website updates and ensures web content adheres to NECA branding structure.   
  • Works closely with the Director of Communications and Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy to ensure execution of overall internal and external public affairs strategy. 
  • Utilizes a working knowledge of SEO best practices to ensure content reaches its intended audience. 
  • Monitors web analytics and uses results to develop future strategy. 
  • Develops strategies to streamline and unify NECA’s digital processes across departments. 
  • Manages the listing of NECA mobile apps in Apple and Android stores. 
  • Maintains a cooperative and close working relationship with national staff, chapters, the Executive Committee, the Board of Governors, NECA membership and volunteers. 
  • Communicates with membership to effectively launch online strategies for NECA programs, applications, publications and conferences.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
