The Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation is seeking a part-time (benefits included) Program Assistant for the Career Enhancement Fellowships for Junior and Adjunct Faculty, Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellows (MMUF) Dissertation Support Program, and Mellon Mays Gap Assistance Program, funded through grants from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The Program Assistant will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of each program and must be able to manage multiple projects with excellence and effectiveness. The Program Assistant will report to the Program Officer for Mellon Programs.
One or more years of non-profit or university administration experience
Excellent skills in writing, interpersonal communication, and other kinds of communication
Demonstrated commitment to historically underrepresented groups
High attention to detail; excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of higher education institutions a plus
Demonstrated ability to work well with a wide range of people
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Proficiency with various social media: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
Level of Language Proficiency
Minimum Education Required
