Who You Are

You’re a seasoned fundraiser looking to transfer your skills to the education sector. You’ve demonstrated success developing proposals for institutional donors that reflect an organization’s needs and priorities. You thrive in high-energy, fast-paced environments. You drive deadlines and inspire your teams to strive higher than they thought possible. You’re passionate, entrepreneurial and motivated by data and results. You’re a creative problem solver and open to experimentation to accomplish goals. You know how to build relationships with people of all backgrounds and connect them to a common goal. You believe in our mission to provide best-in-class education to all students and won’t let anything stand in your way of making that a reality.

What You’ll Do

You’ll manage a portfolio of institutional donors in the areas of teacher and school leader certification, data and technology, and college and career readiness. You’ll cultivate and maintain relationships with foundation and government funders. You’ll work closely with program, finance and data staff to design viable initiatives that meet the needs of our constituents and that are competitive in the donor universe.

Why New Visions?

You’ll have the opportunity to directly impact the lives of students and families, helping them achieve their dreams. You’ll be challenged constantly, but will always have an amazing team to back you up and push you to succeed. You get to work with thought leaders and innovators in the education section. And you’ll be contributing to changing the landscape of public education in NYC. Plus, we have great medical benefits and fun work perks!

Additional Information

Our offices are currently remote but are making the move to hybrid work starting at the beginning of October.  We will follow New York State’s lead and require all staff to either be vaccinated or provide a weekly negative test.  Our plans and policies may change as circumstances related to COVID-19 continue to evolve.  Additional details will be shared if selected for an interview.
