  •  Our Legal Services, Social Services, and Weatherization programs meet community members’ basic needs including housing, income, nutrition and health. 
  • Our Community Organizing program empowers groups of residents to collectively secure longer term and larger scale improvements to their own basic needs.  
  • Our Education & Career Services program imparts individual community members with the practical tools necessary to build secure and prosperous futures. 


SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:  

This is a temporary, remote position reporting to the Director of Education & Career Services and working closely with the New York Presbyterian (NYP) task manager. This role will oversee Patient Greeters performing in person work at NYP locations throughout upper Manhattan and oversee the NMIC-NYP partnership.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise 20 Patient Greeters posted throughout NYC at various NYP locations.
  • Serve as primary liaison to NYP task manager.
  • Monitor and evaluate Greeters to assess performance and provide feedback.
  • Oversee completion of Greeters’ time sheets.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of employees in collaboration with human resources representatives.
  • Track employee placement and attendance information.
  • Ensure that all administrative requirements for NYP-NMIC partnership are met.

 Additional related responsibilities may be assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Experience (including training/certification) in customer service required.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Minimum AA required, BA preferred.
  • Upper Manhattan resident preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Drug test and criminal background check required.
