About Einstein Charter Schools:

The mission of Einstein Charter Schools (“Einstein”) is to promote academic excellence in teaching

and learning through the integration of mathematics and science in interdisciplinary curricula and to

promote the ideals and habits of lifelong learning among all stakeholders. Founded in 2005, Einstein

Charter Schools is a top performing, tuition free, open admissions network of 4 schools in New

Orleans East, currently serving grades PK-11. Authorized by the Orleans Parish School Board, we

service the needs of more than 1,400 students, over 30% of whom receive ELL services. Einstein

Charter Schools take pride in being among the most diverse schools in Orleans Parish. Since opening

in 2006, Einstein’s Village De L’ Est campus achieved academic gains that led to being funded by the

United States Department of Education as a recipient of the Charter School's Program Grant for

Replication and Expansion of High Quality Charter Schools in 2015.

Continuing our record of success, after opening Einstein Charter School at Sherwood Forest in the

fall of 2013, we founded Einstein Charter Middle and Einstein Charter High in the former Sarah
