General Purpose
The Empowerment Program Manager oversees all existing and future social good programs with a focus on underserved populations of students. This role manages and is the main point of contact for donor engagement efforts. Monitors social good program outreach and operations for quality, efficiency, and effectiveness. Utilizes a client relationship management (CRM) or other system to organize information and facilitate outreach communications, perform forecasting, and measure the performance of programs. Works collaboratively with SEI’s external fundraising consulting firm to implement a fundraising and development strategy to identify potential donors or funding sources and conduct outreach initiatives.
Collaborates with partners to ensure that special events and partners publicize SEI’s programs to the community and support its goals. May assist in the development of grant applications or proposals. Ensures that project milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets. Reports to the VP of Marketing and Business Development.
This is a part-time, 24 hour/week position. Remote candidates will be considered.
Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
· This position is the main donor relationship manager for the organization
· Main point of contact and project manager for SEI’s external fundraising consulting group
· Ensure all donation and grant contract metrics are identified, tracked, and reported to stakeholders through periodic impact reports and end of year reporting
· Keep updated records, create reports or proposals and report internal metrics monthly to internal stakeholders
· Work closely with student services scholarship coordinator to assist in the implementation of scholarship program to include student tracking and impact reports.
· Lead ongoing and end of year giving campaigns
· Schedule and organize meetings, events and projects and maintain agenda
· Participate in marketing and public relations efforts to support program growth and development, including student recruitment
· Collaborate with Marketing, Social Good, and Business Development teams to create
and distribute fundraising tools (social media, e-newsletter, blog posts, boilerplate
documents)
· Assist with efforts to seek and secure additional funding for the programs as needed - conduct preliminary prospect research and identify capacity
· Interact with partners, staff, and stakeholders on a regular basis to build and maintain positive relations within the team and external parties
· Build partnerships with industry partners, corporate social responsibility programs and other funding sources, to increase funding to SEI’s Empowerment Program and scholarship funds.

Education, Qualifications and Experience
· Minimum 5 years’ donor management or fundraising program management experience in a similar or related position
· Experience managing complex and multiple projects, including staffing, workloads, and finances under deadlines.
· Collaborative experience, including motivating, brainstorming, setting objectives and managing performance.
· Experience in partnership development with non-profit partners, community groups, corporations, and/or government agencies
· Proven grant writing experience with awards exceeding $250K
· Experience negotiating.
· Experience with related software.
