The Doe Fund is a nationally acclaimed nonprofit organization which provides economic opportunity, transitional and supportive housing, and comprehensive social services to underserved populations including the formerly homeless and incarcerated, disconnected youth, and people living with HIV/AIDS.
Its flagship transitional work program—Ready, Willing & Able—integrates paid work, occupational training, and holistic supportive services to facilitate an individual’s return to mainstream society. The Doe Fund has an annual operating budget of $60 million and a full-time staff of 400.
The Doe Fund’s Development Department seeks a business-minded, mission-driven, and creative individual to assist the team in conceptualizing and executing events that support and further the mission of the organization. They must possess a high level of customer service, vendor relations, strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to problem-solve.
The Doe Fund’s Gala raises an average of $1.6M dollars annually, while other Doe Fund events top $250,000 annually. The Development Department seeks an individual who has experience organizing both in-person and virtual events. As we shift to virtual events, we are seeking someone who has strong experience with producing and maximizing an online event and savvy with social media promotion in order to attract donors and successfully fundraise at levels that have been done at off-site venues.
Submit your application for review.
