The Outreach Coordinator will work with the team of staff members who deliver healthcare provider programming and other outreach initiatives. This position will help LBBC to expand its engagement with healthcare providers and their breast cancer patients.
Note: LBBC is headquartered just outside Philadelphia in Bala Cynwyd, PA. As this position can be done remotely, we will consider candidates who are based within and outside of the Greater Philadelphia region.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Provide program support to the Survivorship Series for Young Women Impacted by Breast Cancer. This program trains oncology nurse navigators to implement an educational series for women diagnosed with breast cancer before age 45. This position will act as the primary point of contact for all training participants. The position will also track program requirements and engagement, develop regular communication with the Program Leaders and support program evaluation efforts.
● Coordinate recruitment and training for new cohorts of Survivorship Series Program Leaders and assist with the running of virtual and in-person trainings. Maintain the online resource hub and manage program material distribution.
● Support all other healthcare provider programming offered by LBBC. Assist with program planning and implementation, manage speaker communication, coordinate and submit continuing education (CEU) applications for at least three disciplines per program and prepare post-program summary continuing education reports.
● Support healthcare provider outreach initiatives by assisting with data tracking, program planning and healthcare provider communications, including LBBC’s monthly healthcare provider e-newsletter.
● Serve as a back-up staff to Breast Cancer Helpline and Living Beyond Breast Cancer Fund and support these programs’ administrative processes.
Key Requirements
● Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
● 2-3 years’ experience in a nonprofit setting or related field
● Proven ability of successful relationship building and logistics coordination
● Experience working with healthcare providers preferred
● Strong computer application skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and online meeting tools (e.g. Zoom)
● Experience using relational databases (e.g., Raiser’s Edge)
● Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
● Self-directed individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and work proactively in a collaborative environment
● Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
● Ability to work 9am to 5pm Eastern Time, regardless of location
● Ability to travel for multi-day meetings, trainings, and conferences occasionally
