JFF’s policy team offers fresh ideas on education, workforce and poverty alleviation issues that prepare students and workers for the jobs of the future and boost our nation's economy. JFF’s policy experts design and promote policies to help federal, state, and local communities implement and sustain programs that demonstrate the most promise. We synthesize research, evidence, and input from practitioners to inform national policy and debate.
We’re looking for a Policy Associate to provide administrative, communications, and other support for our policy team. This person will be responsible for project management, scheduling, policy research, and communications work. Our team welcomes an enthusiastic Policy Associate who is passionate about policy and economic mobility, and looking for a position that will enable them to learn and grow their skills.
We would love to chat if you are:
· Experienced in research, writing, and problem solving.
· Excited about working with a dynamic, highly collaborative team.
· Ready to learn new skills and grow with our team.
· Interested in policy, workforce development, or education.
We think our new Policy Associate will:
· Have a bachelor’s degree.
· Demonstrate interpersonal, communications, and project management skill(s).
· Be flexible and able to juggle competing priorities.
