Activities Coordinator

Brandywine Valley Active Aging (BVAA) is the fastest growing senior center in Chester County, PA.  With a constant eye on changing the image of senior centers by improving the guest experience, we're looking for a creative, energetic, and outgoing individual to step into the exciting role of Campus Activities Coordinator! This position is responsible for planning and facilitating daily campus activities, planning monthly trips, helping with daily lunch service, and daily data entry.

Daily Responsibilities Will Include:

1. Arriving to work on-time, being presentable, completing all work assignments, and following all standards designated by BVAA, the County of Chester, and/or the Pennsylvania Department of Aging.
2. Setting up and breaking down activity areas around the campus
3. Building and maintaining a positive and trusting relationship with guests and staff at the campus and throughout the organization.
4. Ensuring the campus is kept clean and safe.
5. Planning and facilitating daily campus activities.
6. Planning and participating in monthly off campus trips.
7. Keeping guest information up to date and ensuring accurate accounting of all programs and services utilizing Co-Pilot for data entry.
8. Assisting with daily meal service.

This Position Requires

• Commitment to working 35-hours per week: Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm (evening and weekend hours may be required to provide coverage for special events and fundraising events of the organization).
• A valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and proof of insurance.
• A willingness to drive a company vehicle between locations.
