Elizabeth Gregory Home is looking to add a dynamic individual to grow our fundraising and development efforts. The ideal candidate will be able to successfully prioritize duties that deepen our relationship with our community of supporters. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Fundraising Management

  • Create, plan & implement annual fundraising strategies to meet operating budget goals
  • Generate and oversee all fundraising activities related to appeals, individual gift solicitation, cultivation, stewardship and acknowledgements
  • Monitor, measure, analyze and report on effectiveness of each development campaign
  • Engage board members in the fundraising process
  • Create monthly reports for Executive Director and fund development committee

Major Gifts

  • Develop and implement major donor strategies for donors $500+, including establishing portfolios for the Executive Director and select board members to steward

Marketing

  • Support efforts to heighten the visibility, reputation and furthering of EGH mission
  • Collaborate with Executive Director on creating a communications plan that engages external audiences and articulates EGH's mission, programs and accomplishments
  • Supervise Mar-Com contract position on website and social media postings, event collateral development, and the creation and production of EGH newsletters and the annual report 

Events

  • Serve as EGH internal point of contact for the annual event committee
  • In conjunction with our contracted corporate marketing specialist, recruit, nurture, and assure deliverables for corporate sponsors for our annual event
  • In partnership with the Executive Director and volunteers, plan and implement stewardship events

Planned Giving

  • Collaborate with Executive Director on planned giving strategy
  • Coordinate planned giving program implementation with Executive Director and board 

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s Degree  
  2. Development experience, with particular focus on moves management strategies
  3. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 
  4. Adept at working with fundraising software, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite
  5. Awareness and sensitivity toward cultural, racial, ethnic, socio-economic, gender and sexual identity diversity   
  6. Flexible regarding work schedule and location, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic
  7. Exceptional aptitude for time management, accountability, and teamwork
