Virtual Event Producer (VEP)

Develops and executes a series of virtual edu-tainment events in collaboration with BrightFocus Foundation and PCH Films



Job Responsibilities: BrightFocus Foundation is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong project management and organizational skills to serve as Virtual Event Producer (VEP) for “Brain Info Live,” a new virtual series that will provide information and entertainment to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease in diverse communities across the US.


The ideal candidate has a successful track record producing virtual events and educational programming, has experience with film post-production, and has experience working with Avid editing software.


The VEP will work directly with the Strategic Partnerships team at BrightFocus, the post-production team at PCH Films, and multiple content partner organizations nationwide.


The VEP will ensure that events are produced and delivered on-time and on-target, with deliverables falling within the applicable scope, timeline, and budget.

 


This position may work full or part-time out of the PCH Films offices in Los Angeles (west side).



Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute virtual events based on the needs of all stakeholders and partners
  • Work closely with PCH Films post-production team to research, source, and pull any and all relevant content that may be used in the virtual event programming
  • Manage all event logistics (including pre-event planning, day-of execution and post-event analytics)
  • Manage production schedule and logistics coordination with PCH Films team (as needed)
  • Maintain project budgets
  • Propose creative and resourceful ideas to enhance the audience experience
  • Provide valuable solutions to issues throughout the event planning process
  • Design event evaluations and share trends/results with stakeholders
  • Help develop content repository featuring all clips, interviews, etc. used in the events, and facilitate sharing with partners as requested



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in film post-production
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong communication/people skills
  • An uncompromising commitment to quality and detail
  • Team-oriented with a strong sense of commitment to colleagues and clients
  • Enjoys a collaborative environment
