Description

The Research Foundation for the State University of NY at Cortland is seeking a full-time Director of Migrant Education Tutorial and Support Services (METS). METS is a grant funded program and has been operating on the SUNY Campus since 1979 and provides instructional and support services to migrant students, ages 0-21, and their families. The Program Director at Cortland manages and ensures the provision of instructional and support services, including referrals, based on the needs of migrant children and their families and data analysis across a 12 county region. This program is funded through a Federal Title I grant, and the Program Director supervises the administration of these funds. This includes supervision of all program staff as well as completion of all activities related to program services, budgeting, purchasing, personnel and reporting. The Director also works collaboratively with the grant’s Principal Investigator as well as with Migrant Education staff at the NYS Education Department which sponsors the grant.
