Job Description

This position is responsible for partnering across our HR team and the entire organization to integrate Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) practices into our company-wide people programs and business operations. The ideal candidate will be agile and able to move fast, navigate ambiguity, build strong relationships across multiple teams and execute effectively. This person will partner closely with our People & Culture Strategists and/or Human Resources Business Partners to drive ideation, consultation, training, and delivery of solutions.

To help drive success, we are looking to hire a People & Culture Strategist who will provide thought leadership, strong collaboration and consultation in the areas of diversity and inclusion, leadership development, training, and change management.

Required Skills:

1.    Consults across the People, Culture, and Global HR team to integrate inclusion into all existing talent management, training, and HR processes.

2.    Leverages strong understanding of implicit bias/bias mitigation concepts and/or behavioral competencies to incorporate in existing talent management and talent development solutions

3.    Demonstrated experience building a racially just culture and

4.    Builds relationships and drives organizational effectiveness in ambiguous environments using relationship building as a critical success factor

5.    Partners with the People, Culture, and Global HR team to implement D&I strategies into performance management, career development, and employee engagement programs and processes

6.    Designs, develops and facilitates training to support all talent and leadership development.

7.    Conducts training needs analysis to identify training needs for the organization and partners with the People, Culture, and Global HR team to implement

8.    Supports the entire People, Culture, and Global HR team in addressing organizational needs and priorities (as needed) in all areas of the organization

9.    Builds organizational capability (or can refine/update existing solutions) to help increase understanding and awareness of D&I topics and work experiences of diverse groups and actively participates and lends guidance to all diversity and inclusions groups and initiatives.

10.Provides change management guidance as systems/processes are implemented

11.Creates, manages and executes projects and initiatives (such as planning, design, development, identifying stakeholders, identifying key milestones, meeting deadlines and selecting appropriate metrics) to assess outcomes of all Training and DEI programs and activities.

12.Manages direct reports, as needed, and provides coaching, development and career guidance to all HR Business Partners and Business units.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1.    Minimum of 10 years’ experience including D&I, Talent Development, Training, Management Development, and all Human Resources generalist functions

2.    A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related area

3.    Understanding of, and experience using, analytics and key workforce metrics

4.    Experience in translating external and internal trends and Best Practices into innovative practices

5.    Experience translating data and analytics to develop insights, tell stories, drive decisions and measure impact

6.    Demonstrated experience serving as change agent in a fast moving, dynamic and results-driven organization

Preferred Qualifications:

1.    Demonstrated experience with coaching and influencing leaders at all levels

2.    Professional level HR industry certifications, advanced preferred.

3.    Master’s degree in a related discipline

4.    Experience developing positive relationships and working effectively with peers and leaders across an organization

5.    Proven track record of facilitating company-level initiatives with multi- dimensional relationships

6.    Experience managing in a union environment strongly preferred
