Hamilton Urban Core provides a wide range of primary health care services and programs for people within the inner city. We are looking for a dynamic individual to work with our

Consumption and Treatment Service (CTS). Working as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary

team, the Administrative Support and Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for

providing staff scheduling, administrative and financial support functions and

maintaining efficient office systems, practices and procedures. They will be responsible for coordinating volunteers and students.

The successful candidate should have:

• Good written and spoken communication skills
• Experience coordinating staff schedules
• Experience coordinating volunteers
• Experience with Events planning
• Experience taking minutes and developing meeting agendas
• Knowledge and proficiency in the use of computers and various software programs
• Demonstrated experience maintaining a high level of efficiency through office administration and financial systems and practices
• High degree of accuracy in all areas of administrative work
• Solid organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Excellence client service skills
• Relevant education in administration or social sciences diploma or degree. This may include: Office or Business Administration, Volunteer Management, Recreation, Event Planning, Concurrent Disorders or any other related social sciences studies
