The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) is looking for an Organizational Growth Campaign Consultant.

Consultant will help NCMEC create and launch an organizational growth campaign that will secure funds for a new NCMEC initiative. Consultant will report to the Executive Director, Strategic Advancement & Partnerships and an internal working group. The primary responsibilities of the Consultant are to help NCMEC create a blueprint for a fundraising campaign, identify new potential donors, and provide entrée to venture capitalists and other untapped funding opportunities.

Consultant must have a strong working knowledge of technology-driven and capacity-building and/or organizational growth campaigns for nonprofits. Consultant will serve as a thought leader in developing the ideas and approaches that guide the campaign to success. Consultant must be detail oriented and prepared to work closely with the leadership team, internal stakeholders, and development and technology staff to secure funding and strategies to launch a new major initiative dedicated to helping find missing children, stopping child sexual exploitation, and promoting prevention.

Consultant will combine in-depth engagement with key stakeholders, data-driven analysis, and broad-ranging expertise to help develop a comprehensive blueprint for organizational growth. They are required to create robust data analytics, systems, and research capabilities to leverage data to support fundraising strategies.

Consultant would ideally have experience working with nonprofits that receive funding from both private donors and federal and/or state government grants. Consultant will create and steer the implementation of the organizational growth campaign’s plan and timeline such that it includes the appropriate activities and goals for each phase, donor engagement plans, and major responsibilities for staff and volunteers.

Consultant shall communicate directly with the primary point of contact at NCMEC on all matters relating to the performance of the Services, including the prioritization of all tasks/responsibilities pursuant to an Independent Consultant Agreement to be executed upon retention.

Consultant will be responsible for bi-weekly check-ins with staff.

Consultant, as a direct and indirect result of their efforts, contacts, donor prospecting, board and staff guidance, shall help raise more than $1M for NCMEC and/or the initiative within 1 year of retention.
