Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the Episcopal Impact Fund grantmaking process, including creating and maintaining the annual grants calendar, soliciting and reviewing proposals for funding, scheduling meetings, distributing information to stakeholders and conducting site visit
  •  Attending and supporting board, program committee and advocacy task force meetings, including creating an annual meeting calendar and creating and disseminating agendas and minutes.
  •  Supporting new board member onboarding.
  •   Working with other members of staff to provide program input for monthly newsletter, web pages and social media and to produce the annual review.
  •  Assisting with special events, including the annual gala, donor cultivation events, grantee roundtables, annual board dinner and others as needed.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

  •   Excellent written and oral communications skills with strong attention to detail
  •   Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and responsibilities.
  •   Flexibility and willingness to work collegially.
  •   Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Microsoft Teams, OneDrive a plus.
  • Ability to solve problems on the go and learn new technology.
  •  Available for occasional evening and weekend work as required and for travel within the Bay Area.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or Associate's degree

Salary

$35,000 - $37,500Based on 20 hours a week. Extra hours when necessary will be compensated at an hourly rate.
